Astronauts Artists

The ability to see beauty and art in everyday life is a reoccurring theme in my life. My platinum/palladium images beautify normality. I am far from the only artist with this theme however some may or may not realize thay are doing the same thing. Our astronauts who travel in the shuttle have been photographing the earth and Nasa catalogues all the images. While many of the thousands of images are straight foward, many are aesthetically interesting. You can find these images at http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/IOTD/view.php?id=6226

When I first saw this picture taken by an astronaunt it convinced me more that the place where we live in, is a beautiful world, that earth itself is a huge peace of art, and the natural things in it make it even better. This image is very unique, for this astronaunts its probably one in a lifetime to be able to take this picture, I believe the green shadows is an Aurora becasue its happening above Antartida. Having this image taken is really a privilage, and being able to watch this is exiting because its an Aurora been seen from space, and thats simply awsome!!!

As I scrolled down the images that are posted on this blogspot, this one immediately caught my attention. The natural beauty represented in this photograph is truly magnificent. It is inspiring to see that we live in such a marvelous planet full of natural beauty.
This picture proves that photography is indeed a form of art that captures and portrays beauty. I envy the opportunity that this astronaut had to be able to not only see this phenomenon but also capture it and make it timeless through photography.

As Eduardo says that we live in a world full of natural art for example a magnificient landscape of the sun rising up in the mornings. Art is not just ceramics, paintings, etc.. but also is the way we see our sorroundings in everyday life, like for example a certain angle point changes and put together a image that mixes up and creates something truly artistic and beutiful

This image is really astonishing, at first I doubted its veractiy but this image is miracilously real. These green lights are the famous ``northern lights``. This is magnificently beautiful and its amazing how something so beautiful can be taken by a image, not painted or drawn by an artist, but now we have the capability of capturing an exact image, observing ancient pots in class today made me wonder about how truly fenomenal cameras are.

This is a really nice imagine. I am not into science or the planets that much, but this image caught my eyes really fast. You can see the all the colors Earth can have from space. You can say many things from a little artistic photo. Art is found everywhere at any time or place.

This image really captured my attention. I really like space and the beautiful sights you can see for up their and this is by far one of my favorite sights form space. I liked when you could only see the planet but once I saw that this picture taken form up there showed the aurora lights it was really impressive. I had only seen these lights in videos and pictures and from the earth not form space! I think that this image is really cool and should be posted up in the class! What I mostly like about this image is no really the lights although they are extremely beautiful but my favorite part of this is still the planet ant the view from up there. I hope one day I can go up there and see this for my self because that would be a once in a lifetime opportunity
